It was a screw on chuck mounted directly to the
spindle. It now has a flat back with a
boss machined into it for adaptation to
most any mount. You can mount it with
an adapter plate or put it
on a radial arm drill and drill most any bolt circle into it for a direct
mount or direct mount with an adapter plate
to fit whatever spindle nose you have on your lathe.
